Got some wicked food poisoning from a bad egg salad sandwich yesterday. Moral of that story? If the egg smells off don't just think, 'oh, a little mayonaise'll take care of that.' because it really won't.

All better now but spent lots of time sleeping yesterday and today. Some of that might've also been inspired by the mini-West Wing marathon held ( Read more... )

Glad the food poisoning passed quickly. Stop eating bad eggs!

It's beautiful here, too. I will be going out for a walk sometime.

Must catch up with you and Ron :-)

Not very eloquent today.

Bad eggs have been offically outlawed by the Geneva Conventions.

So I have this Mary Sue who exists in the universe where Ron goes to work with the Watchers Council in some capacity or other. I'm not entirely sure that that will actually happen but when it does he meets this nice girl in the Council Library who's smart ('cause he'll always go for that) but doesn't have any of the baggage from the War or Harry or anything and who can make him laugh and we start off as great friends and things evolve and it's all a lot of fun.

Of course, this does not exist in the universe where my Mary Sue ends up with Giles. That's a whole other situation right there.

This slice of krazehness brought to you by a rainy Sunday. Enjoy! =D

Ooohhh yeah, that's what I'm talkin' 'bout, baby.

Your brain is pure crack to me. I am severely lacking in Mary Sues for HP and Buffyverse. I'll have to work on that while I'm not lurking around LJ during my workday today.

All fandoms need Mary Sues, if only to make our working lives a little less dull. They're the crack that get us through the day.

My Buffyverse Mary Sue is a riot. At one point she was actually me and I had been transported into the Buffyverse by some weird mumbo jumbo. Now she's someone who was a history teacher at SHS for a little while around 3rd season and got pulled into the fun. She spends a lot of time in the library researching and providing adult conversation.

She comes and goes after 3rd season, mostly around during 4th and 5th but, of course, completely gone in 6th. By the time she shows up in 7th everything's gone to hell and all anyone can do is hold on for dear life. Thankfully she does not die in the finale, though she's seriously tempted on more then one occasion to put strycnine in Andrew's morning coffee. =D
