The Pup just finished devouring a piece of denim we were playing the sock game with and now he won't leave me alone. Apparently I'm not allowed to type when he wants to be petted. *pets Pup* Nothing is ever enough for him.

Now that I have downloading freedom, does anyone know where I can find the last two episodes of Rome that I missed? I would ( Read more... )

Ooh, they've got another show out about us? Joy! *snerk* Which one is it this time?

Seriously, I will be right behind you if you want to start an LDS FAQ. One of my favorites is when people assume we're a Cult of the Peanut, or some such thing. And the people who freak when I drink a Coke because they think I'm not allowed to do so.

I think I've mentioned it before, but it's an HBO show called Big Love about Bill Paxton having 3 wives. None of the characters are apparently mormon but people around fandom and critics in general have been rolling their eyes at the Church for releasing a 'we're not polygamists anymore, really' statement. *rolls eyes*

We should totally start compiling a FAQ, which we should title 'Cult of the Peanut'. *snerk* And I get the same look when I drink Coke! Everybody just needs to simmer down. ;-)

Oh, that one. Yes, I think you did mention it.

We can call it "The Cult of the Peanut" and have a Mormon Myhts busters feature once a week. Now that would be interesting. :P

That's it, I'm starting a new LJ comm for the Mormon Mythbusters. This is just too good an idea to pass up.

Or you could just send me us a pair of those cute boys in the ties with the illustrated materials.

I could do that but we do have to save some of those nice boys for the rest of us. It's only in my best interest to keep them away from "corrupting influences". *wink*
