It's a winter wonderland outside. There was snow for Thanksgiving but last night another couple of inches silently fell. It was beautiful last night, there's something so amazingly peaceful and strangely gentle about a late night snow fall. Everything is silent save for the soft swishing noise of falling snow, almost as if the time has stilled ( Read more... )

Thank goodness Joss Whedon isn't running this show or Bernard would be dead by the end of the season and if they kill him or Rose off I will THRASH THEM!

I don't know about the actress who plays Rose, but Sam Anderson is still listed as guest/also starring. I do not have high hopes for his permanent residence.

Not listening, I'M NOT LISTENING! *plugs ears and hums*

And the actress who plays Rose (whose name I also can't remember, shame on me) has only ever been listed as a guest star.

Ya know, I've never been up on the KateHate, but I have to admit, Mary Sue is rearing her head.

The mustache is a parasitic growth afflicting all our Easy guys, sometimes accompanied by goatees and the occasional full beard. It must be stopped.

As I said in my own review, Jack takes a look at Eko and back at Locke and thinks, Oh shit now there's TWO of them.

Hey, hey, my cousin married into the J-Dubs. I don't want none of your LDS-JW gang wars going on, okay?

JJ loves his Mary Sues.

If the Men of Easy continue this for much longer I do believe that we'll have to hunt them down and shave them, personally. And, you know, that kinda sounds like a lot of fun.

I promise, no religious gang wars in my journal. I love everybody. ;-) Besides, what do you take me for, a Baptist? *giggle*

But how interesting -- I thought women made Mary Sues, men made Wesley Crusher. I know I do used to do when I was honest artisticially immature.

Re: shaving: brings us back to Eion Bailey and the bearishness of it all.

You made me laugh very hard very wrongly at that last remark.

But see, those are the self-insert types of characters that we're all guilty of. However, I've observed that a few tv creators *cough* JJ and Joss Whedon *cough* love to portray this idealized female archetype over and over and over again. JJ had his Felicity and his Sydney and his Kate and Joss had his Willow and his Fred and his River. Kind of like their dream woman incarnate, I suppose.

I'm just gonna stand back and take pictures when you and Baylor and Hiyacynth start in with the Eion Bailey shaving.

My work here is done. *evil grin*
