i do that too, well not in my private journal, but i just fit certain songs with alot more clever words than mine that describe my feelings in certain situations better than i can, and it works. but i have changed songs for the same emotion or feeling for different situations so many times.egh...i dunno if you understand what im saying. :D

I love song lyrics. I always use them for my subject title in lj. I've never had a way with words which is one reason why I love music so much. The words always seem to say what I'm feeling better then I could imagine saying them myself. Funny how things work like that...

hey birthday boy..you should post them. i would love to see the list or the words or song. sometimes late at night when it's all silent..i sit and write lyrics. i love to read them the next day. or i will hear a song and man it's just how i feel at the right time. i turn it up and just smile. just like the song says "its only words and words are all i have to take your heart away" ok..i am a romantic sap.

totally man. the lyrics of a song can hit me so hard and then about a month or so later it can take on a whole new meaning. the wonders and beauty that is music. :)
