I've decided that my first frivolous purchase with my new pay check (when i have money to be frivolous with) will be one of those crazy back massage chairs from Brookstone with the rolly things. Oh yes.

I'm kinda afraid though, knowing my love for food machine infomercials, that I'm going to blow all of my money on this stuff

~my little sister (age 21) who is starting her student teaching next semester...I told her about your progress and she's all impressed and is dorky about others who want to teach. she's all 'he's in a band AND he's teaching?!' hence the comment quoted above.

Awww! Thats sweet. Is she in tejas too? Two of the new teachers and one of the old ones are from Texas, which i thought was kinda weird.

yeah, she's going to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX...all summer she spent in Missouri as a camp counselor and LOVED it..she got all the patience in the family, for real. she's aiming towards teaching k thru 3rd grade and works at a day care on the side. while i wanna go to record stores, she begs me to go to teaching supply stores with her...it's amusing.

i just found out recently that one of my old roommates is also gonna teach, middle school kids. yikes.

and yes, i shall note the correction of TWO bands to her...a music career on the side along with teaching is an impressive feat for anyone. bravo.
