A good start to the weekend, methinks.
I don't think I've actually ever won a game of M.U.L.E. on tournament difficulty before. I got a bit of a lucky start, and used the beginner species, but I think the biggest help was paying more attention to the developer's comments.
(Purple, who'd previously been lagging far behind, was in danger of outdoing me by switching to Crystite in the last few turns, making use of a meteor strike that hit his leftmost plot. However, he also didn't equip enough energy plots, even after a mid-game store fire, which meant I could strangle his production by refusing to sell my surplus. Ah, business.)
Incidentally, I quite like this adaptation of the theme tune. Funky.
