We found the Higgs-Boson particle!

Or maybe a Higgs-Boson spectrum particle?

Anyway, it's very particulate. So this is a great day for science. Unless it was yesterday? Time across the globe and all that.

Unfortunately, the Higgs Boson appears to be much more boring than hoped. So it goes - these things never go smoothly. Oh well. Good news anyway.

(Although I thought the official discovery was earlier)

It was apparently discovered some time ago and then nobody said anything for a while? Maybe they were hoping for a little more information in case they got "but what does it do?" or "do you have a picture?" or something equally inconvenient.
