Well, at least writing it all in the first place is progress. That's good, right?

It's too much. Okay, it's not quite too much, but the shift from "am I ever going to finish this?" to "I spent how long on it, and is it worth it?" was sudden and complete. I honestly haven't opened it again since, and the amount of cutting and stitching and tucking I'll have to do is kind of mind-boggling right now.

But yes, it's good progress. It's very good. I wrote a book with a beginning, a middle, and an end!
