The window was both a gift and a curse. It reminded him of the good things in life. It reminded him of the horrors in life and the things he could not have. He could never return to what he knew. His internal wounds would not heal until he was free from his prison. Not that Pansy Parkinson was thinking about releasing him from her basement any time soon.

He heard footsteps. His body froze instantly. She was coming to talk to him again. To tease him and talk to him. She would probably bring him food, but he would not eat it. He was not hungry.

"Eat something Finnigan or you'll waste away," Pansy sneered.

"I'm not hungry. Besides I deserve it," Seamus snapped.

"No you don't. No one deserves to waste away."

"My mother is dead and it's all my fault."

Pansy crouched down beside him. She stared into his eyes for a moment as if searching for something she lacked. It did not take her long to realize it was not there. She had hoped it was there, but hoping only gets you so far. She hesitantly hugged him because she did not know what else to do. For a brief second he hugged her back. His shackles gently rubbing against her skin. That is until he realized who he was, where he was and he jerked away at once.

"Let me out of here Parkinson! I have to avenge my mother's death!"

"There's no need for that Finnigan. The person responsible is dead."

"You're lying!"

"I'm not."

"How can I trust you? How do you know for sure?"

"I know because I killed him. You can trust me because I'm telling you the truth."

His eyes widened. He stared at Pansy in disbelief for a few seconds before stuttering, "You killed someone?"

Pansy nodded her head slowly. "It's not something I'm proud of, but it had to be done. For both of our sakes," she replied honestly.

From that moment on Seamus appreciated Pansy. She had killed someone. Death was always a horrible thing, but she had done the right thing. She had killed the Death Eater responsible for his mother's death. His only regret was not being able to kill the person himself. He felt shame overcome him. A girl had done his duty. A Slytherin girl nonetheless and he always knew how much his mother despised Slytherins.

"You should have let me kill him."

"The ministry is already searching for you because of your involvement in Dumbledore's Army. Not to mention the terrible fire that engulfed half the ministry that was supposedly caused by you and your people."

"We didn't cause that fire. It was Pettigrew! Scrimgeour is trying to place the blame on Dumbledore's Army because he's an idiot."

Seamus struggled against his chains. Pansy's eyes narrowed and stepped away from him. She shook her head softly and said, "Calm down. I was going to release you today, but if you're going to act this way I won't."

Seamus stopped struggling and went limp. Pansy smirked and approached him once more. She lifted up his chin and kissed him. He kissed her back even though he was still angry. He pulled her in closer and pressed her body against his. This originally put Pansy in a strange position, but she adjusted herself so she would be straddling him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him even deeper. Seamus's hands were trailing up and down Pansy's back. He gently dug his fingers into her skin as he did this. Pansy moaned into his mouth, making him smile.

"You should let me go," he whispered into her ear.

"I really shouldn't. I have so much fun with you in this subservient position."

Pansy shifted slightly in Seamus's lap. This caused Seamus to groan inwardly. She wasn't making this easy for him and she knew this. Seamus's eyes widened when he felt his pants unzip and his erection poke out of his pants. A mischievous smile crept onto Pansy's lips and she began to massage it. Seamus's head fell back, touching the wall behind him lightly. Pansy wasn't really in the mood to do this for very long so she got straight to the point. She quickly took his member in her mouth and swirled her tongue around it a few times. Once he seemed to reaching his breaking point she slid down the length of him. He wrapped his arms around her waist roughly and began to slam her down onto him. Pansy let out a few yells because of his roughness. Moans and groans escaped the lips of both for the next few minutes. Until Pansy saw someone run past the basement window.

"Who's that?" she managed to ask.

"Who cares?" Seamus snapped as he continued to slam her down onto him quickly.

Suddenly the basement door slammed open. This startled the both of them.

"Pansy come quick! We think we found Draco," Blaise Zabini practically shouted.

Pansy removed herself from her current position and tucked Seamus's erection away before getting up. Soon afterwards she tidied herself up and said, "Ok, let's go."

"Wait! You're just going to leave me here like this," Seamus sneered.

"Don't worry Finnigan. I'll be back to finish up."

Pansy ran up the stairs and then through the basement door, making sure she closed it behind her. Seamus saw Pansy and Blaise run past the basement window. His only connection to the outside world. The window that haunted him in his sleep and taunted him in his waking hours. Soon the sun would be setting and the moon would stream in through that single window.
