[subdued shaking; slight chattering of teeth; can you hear? the quake of something]
O-Oh, hell.
I think I have a cold.
[more swears, indecipherable somethings (this is not right)]
We're at the hospital. Via taxi? Automobiles have updated, haven't they? I think I need to make you dinner, Caspian. Thank you.
[a sneeze, oh good grief!]
Dammit.

Edmund?
[ooc: I'll start and simplified action spam if that's okay?]

[Edmund's in his room, quietly doing his thing. Caspian and Peter are outside somewhere? Talking? Probably arguing. Probably arguing about him. Oh, well. Edmund will leave them to that. He's just starting at a new crossword puzzle. (Is it really supposed to be this hard?) And then Edmund hears someone call his name.]
Kara?
[He looks up, sees her, throws her a smile.]
Hello.
(OOC: That's perfect! ♥)

Hey there. I come baring Turkish Delight.
Reply
Oh, my. That's quite a bit of Turkish Delight.
Edmund's eyes widen in boyish glee. Really? Seriously? Getting sick is so worth it. (Minus Caspian's accident. Let's not include that. That, he didn't deserve.) Edmund thinks he's right well in love with Kara now.]
You are brilliant.
[He thinks his dropped jaw is suffice to say all.]
(OOC: First response, It's no problem at all! totally forgot to delete that, it was supposed to be part of the OOC note. Ack, sorry!)

Heading over to his bed she sits down next to it and hands him the box.*
I wasn't sure what brand you liked, so I kind of got a variety. I hope that's okay.
[ooc: No worries!]

To. Die. For.]
Perfect.
[Edmund looks up, eyes lambent, turns the box over to Kara and offers her one in wordless thanks. Nothing can quite match up to his appreciation for anything sweeter.]
First one's for you.
(OOC: PS: Kara, you're so cute!)
Reply
You are too sweet.
*Shes flashes him a smile and a wink before taking one of the sweets and popping it in her mouth... and promptly lets out a bit of a moan. This is delicious.*
Oh god... this is amazing.
[ooc: ahah, she's fun to play!]
Reply
[He cracks her a wider grin. A girl who can appreciate? A girl after Edmund's own heart. He reaches over to take another sweet out of the box. Edmund takes a bite.
Now he remembers why (at the time, of course) it had been that these sweets were worth betraying his family for. They are heavenly. Ed groans.]
Too good.
(OOC: *laughs* I bet. I adore the way you play her though!)
Reply
*Kara licks her lips to get the last of the sugar from them and figures the extra weight might just be worth it.*
You should not be able to just fly into a store and buy this over the counter.
[ooc: Thank you!]

Fly?
[It's Kara who can fly, he remembers. A wicked skill. He then takes another bite out of another delight. Oh, but have to save some. Lelouch's coming over later. Edmund promised he has to have a taste.]
Is that hard? Flying?
Reply
*To demonstrate, she raises up a foot or so out of her chair with a "tada!" gesture. Okay, so maybe she's showing off just a bit, but she can't help it.*
When you get better, I'll take you flying if you want.
Reply
[He nearly whistles. Because really, it is. Edmund thinks that it's almost too wicked to be real. But he's seen a whole lot of wicked(er? is that a word?), weirder, things. Though, this is still so awesome.]
I'd like that, thanks.
[The prospect of flying has always appealed to Edmund. He's done griffin, but he'd like otherwise. Edmund'd like to do it all over again if he can.]
Reply
*Kara blushes again, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she sat back down. Okay, so maybe showing off sometimes paid off.*
We can maybe go to the beach, too. Isn't warm weather and sunshine supposed to be good for colds?
Reply
[He has a right good think about the beach idea. It appeals. Certainly. But out of the cold into the warm? Maybe not a bright idea just yet. Especially having the flu as he does.]
For the moment, I'm not too sure.
[Edmund laughs with a sort of mockery of a pondering expression.]
Next week? [He offers in suggestion instead, because he would really like to.] It would be fun.
Reply
*She smiles broadly at him, trying not to bounce on her toes or anything like that. Kara doesn't want to seem too eager.*
You'd better not go and get pneumonia or anything like that on me. But a week will give me enough time to shop for a decent bathing suit.
Reply
I'll do my best to avoid. It's good that the snow's melting, otherwise it would be in very bad form to go to the beach this way.
