So it's all rather sorted now.

The technology here compared to anywhere I've been at is certainly more advanced. It's interesting. I'm staying with Caspian, Peter and Susan in a flat somewhere. Lucy, where in the bloody bowels of Narnia are you? Three men in one room - it's actually more comfortable than you'dve expect. Thank you, Bree for getting ( Read more... )

Is it? It's not very different from what I remember from home. E-Excuse me, but what year was... in your home?

It's very new to me altogether. It still surprises me now.

The year back at home was 1941. What year is it here?

Huh? That explains it. It's 2008 here and that's a little forward even to me.

That is 10 years more than of what someone told me -- What year are you from, if I may ask?

Only because the rooms are so big.

Neat? Neat. You didn't see it before I dusted and swept. Peter was obviously trying to make a spook house.

That's true.

You take on too much yourself, Su. I doubt Peter has enough humour in himself to turn it into a spook house, I'm sure. Otherwise I'd be done rather proud.

As long as you three get the bigger room, I think it should be fair. And please, let's make sure that no one sleeps on the couch.

Someone has to. If we're going to be staying here, chores should be done right.

Better a cot on the floor than a couch? Your logic, my sister.

I suppose. If you look at it that way.

[Was grazing contentedly, so he needs a bit of time to chew and swallow before he can answer--over the network or otherwise.]

You're quite welcome. Really, it makes no sense for anyone to go trekking across so much terrain on his own when there's a horse to help.

In that case.

[Rustling can be heard over the network, Edmund's still pacing somewhere.]

Willing to go for a run later then, Bree? There's somewhere I'd like to go, if you'd allow.

I suppose I could. What did you have in mind?

Just around the City. I'd like to explore it if I could.

I'll show you the grocers later Edmund.

You'll probably become very well acquainted with them.

Thanks.

I promise you they'll remember my name by the time day's out. I'll be there quite often, I'm sure.

Try not to scare the owners too much.

They'll think you're feeding a house full of starving lions if you buy all that.

lionpassant July 18 2008, 04:20:59 UTC
I won't.

They probably wouldn't be very wrong. Just a boy instead of a lion however, and just one boy instead of a house full of it.

How is technology only neat for men?

Sorry. You misunderstand. I meant otherwise.

The flat itself is neat. The technology here is interesting.

Oh! You meant like, it's tidy!

Yeah. Very tidy thanks to my sisters.
