Mmmm, really enjoyed this, especially the way that they've been assigned to care for each other. That's Hermione -- sneaky and wise. :-)

Luna was wandering about happily in the mud in her bare feet, her pale blue cardigan clinging to her, her pale hair white in the watery moonlight.

You know, I think I fell in love with Luna a little bit myself right here. What a lovely visual.

For some reason, that conveys to me a matter of fact, inevitability that I really find appealing. I actually reread that part a couple of times, savoring it.

This is such a sweet and lovely fic, with some really nice visuals, and I love the development of the characters- giving Neville a temper for example. And go Hermione! ;D

Thanks! It's interesting to hear that giving Neville a few moments where he loses his temper seems OK with the character, I thought he was due for a couple, hee.
