Jane went back to the coffee table and picked up the funny stick and carried it to the window. She dropped it into the twiggy, yellowed plants below, and dusted off her hands.

Oooh. Lovely. So creepy. I'm enjoying filling in the backstory myself, and trying to read between the blanks.

And re: your last comment, I did read the rest of your Neville/Parvati, and loved it. I'm sorry for not commenting. It was one of those I'm crazy busy getting ready for the holidays and everyone has already said what I'm thinking moments. So what everyone else said? I agree. Splendid.
