Oh, I love it! I vividly remember my first pair of socks. I believe, after finishing my first one on a Saturday afternoon, that I stuck it in my purse and kept whipping it out at the bar to show all my friends. Ha.

My first sock was Knitty's training sock, haha, and yes, I entertained the brief notion of framing it. :D

OMG, this was so cute! The quiet, assuring presence of Neville and Hermione's increasing panic because she is failing, it's all so beautiful.
I've been tiptoeing around the yarn for my first pair of socks for weeks ... maybe I feel up to the challenge now ^^

Until now, I haven't even started, though I have the yarn and enough needles here. Might try this week if my mum lends me her great how-to-knit book, but then it would just be another method of procrastination as my term paper's deadline is creeping closer... so I probably won't start until April.
