Title: La Bella Luna et la Bête Characters: Luna and whoever the beast turns out to be Summary: Based on the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast. Rating: G
Oh, foolish LJ just ate my comment so here it is again. *frustration*
This is delightful! I love your descriptions of the castle and its grounds, because it sounds like a place I'd dearly love to visit. Luna's reactions to the Beast have me absolutely tickled. I'm looking forward to the next installment, and to finding out who the Beast is. (I'm not sure I believe you that it's not Neville. Because really, tall and dark hair and Gryffindor (assuming that's what the lion imagery implies) and a gardener? Who else could it be?)
Thank you! (and oh I've had so many comments and posts eaten up by LJ and IE!) To be honest with you, I'm not sure right now who he will turn out to be. I did consider Neville, then went with another plan, but I'm making this up as I go along, and now it may turn out to be a third possibility altogether, so... we'll find out together. :D
Heh,I've been busy moping up sick (little un's) or holding my heavily pregnant sister's hand this weekend so I've not had much time for anything fun, so I'm playing catch-up today and I'm quite glad I am at that too!

So it could be Neville huh? I was thinking along the lines of Severus Snape or Draco (with a bottle of hair dye) or at a pinch Ron but I rather like the idea of you not being sure, sure yet, there's room for scope!
Oh and Yay for hot chocolate, Howard the Thestral and does the beast have a tail? I loved that last line/question
Ah, the mysterious beast makes an appearance! I am sort of envisioning Remus as the beast, but that's probably too obvious. :-) Whoever it is, I look forward to getting to know him. And Luna is the perfect fairy tale heroine, really, or at least my perfect fairy tale heroine -- not helpless but sweet and gentle and inquisitive.

Also, Howard? *snickers*
