If there isn't any--though I think there is leftover from Christmas, probably--I'm sure there must be some place that has it, even at this hour, if you want it tonight. I can get however much you need, or first thing in the morning.

Are you just saying that? He likes you best, remember.

I was trying to be clever and look upstairs without making too much noise. I was able to wrap her smaller gift. I'll need just a third or so more. Thank you so much.

We may have some left from the holiday but there are a few shops in town that have patterned and foiled papers.

You aren't the only one. He won't eat anything I give unless Peter is close by. And he's had two whole heads of cabbage.

Hullo, Blue. We're trying to find a new home for our guest. He's a salamander. They live in lakes and rivers, don't they? Do you think that the City one would be fine? I don't know where else.

Hi, Susan.

...well, Ellington lives in the lake. I guess if they get along, it would be fine, I just wouldn't want them to hurt each other.

When did you get a salamander?

oshutup April 30 2009, 02:22:19 UTC
I am quite sure it can't hurt anything, much less Ellington.

Yes. He's growing too big for our bathtub.

What's with people and keeping reptiles as pets? They're completely unadorable.

You think so?

Is that what that thing is? I seemed to have poked it but received no response.

I suppose he's shy in his way, Reepicheep. Please don't take offense. Peter is the one that Salamander likes best.

Well, at least he's not cantankerous as Shadow. I do say I like that even if he prefers the High King over all of us.

Shadow is becoming better though, right? Yes, he is likable.
