I don't mind rain. That's what makes the flowers bloom, after all. If any sun should come out there'll be a rainbow. Days like this are best spent inside.

Ed's gone away. I know for certain nothings happened. I hope that he comes back very soon. He's missed Bree's return.

I wish that there was. There's no way I'll practice inside. That's asking for trouble.

Well, of course not.

Don't worry, Su. You'll do splendidly, I know you will.

Of course I am. I plan to take advantage of the fencing competition too. And secretly? I practice out my bedroom window on days like this.

Sorry about Ed. I hope he comes back too.

Out of your window? What about your arrows?

He can't stay away long.

What about them?

You just let them stay out there? They could be reused.

That's no one's fault. You don't need to apologize, Bree. He'll just have to make it up to you when he comes back.

I do. Last time he left I thought the worst. This time he's gone home straightaway. I like it better that way.

Will you also be in the tournament?

Oh yes. The archery portion.

I think it should be especially good in that case. And there will be a greater chance of everyone behaving.

I do wonder if anyone can actually compete with you. Though perhaps it's more likely here than other places.

Of all the things and places in this City, one would think there would be some sort of indoor range, but either way the rain will let off soon enough, I imagine.

Kate is an excellent markswoman.

You're right. I think that I should ask and see if anyone else would be interested in an indoor range.

I'm sure there are others who would be, and even if it's just one person, or two for starters, a place like that would draw more people in due time anyway.

And start a whole archery trend? If anything I would have more people to compete with if we have another tournament.

Caspian sounds ready.
