Why must the curses try to tamper with love? It happened before, yes. I know. But I can't be the only one who has noticed that it has happened twice this month already. Twice! There shouldn't be a reason to do that, unless it's February I suppose....if there must be a reason.  At any rate, you can't purchase affections, they have to be given freely

No, I don't know of anyone getting married. I'm almost surprised at that, but, of course, marriage in the City would be a tenuous thing indeed.

Love is a chemical process, and just as easily tampered with as the rest of human biology. It has a tendency to take humans by surprise, easily change their entire behavioral schemes, and upset social stability. I can see no reason why our local overlords would not find that an inviting target, given their nature.
