Peter's still drowsy with sleep and babbles a soft comment that he'll rouse later. With his room just down the hall, he no longer has to make such a trek to find his things and he can manage just fine. But then the shaking persists and he sighs, deigning to open his eyes.

Now this, however, he did not expect. "Have I somehow woken up in an alternate version of my life?" he asks of the woman.

Lionel's eyebrows rise in something approaching amusement at Peter's comment. "There isn't a universe out there that can make you straight enough," he says fondly, and pats his shoulder.

It takes another second for that amusement to fade away again, and Lionel sighs. "Morning." It isn't a good one, that's for sure.

Peter can't help but laugh warmly at that, groaning as he shifts back upon his back, propping himself up with an elbow as he studies what does appear to be Lionel. "Dear, you know I'm not...that way inclined," he assures, "But objectively, you're still beautiful."

No matter the state he's in, that isn't something Lionel can resist, and he blushes, shaking his head. "My sister is beautiful," he explains. He's distracted for a moment by a tuft of hair curling over his shoulder, and yes, it's as red as he remembers it. "I probably look like her again."
