I love this - my "liked" side is flourishing again despite the very valid criticisms. Thank you for sharing!

Wow. I call bullshit on a lot of her answers.
It doesn't feel like she explained anything, imho.

yeah i sorta felt the same way... and the thing is, most ppl didn't care. i didn't see/hear a single fan who complained tonight... and most of them brought breaking dawn for her to sign (i brought twilight!!). it's like hmmmm well WOW that didn't answer anything... thanks ; )

ppl were too caught up in just seeing her, ya know? *sighs* it was really awesome nonetheless

LOL yeah, I can totally see how people would get caught up. I'm glad you had a great time though! :)

I grumbled the entire time I was there. I brought Twilight and Eclipse to get signed (my friend with me was book-less so she agreed to get another of mine signed).

I definitely called bullshit on the answers. I was even thinking about making a t-shirt that said (on front) "I love the Twilight saga but ..." and (on back) "Breaking Dawn? 'It will be as if I never existed'". But I didn't have the guts to do it. Cop-out, I know.

Thanks for sharing this! I'm going to the L.A. one, and even though I'm hesitant to go after BD, I'm glad to hear you had such a good time. And I'm not going to lie about this:

13. You said at Comic Con your favorite B/E scene was in the 4th book... WHAT IS IT?
SM: The last 2 pages, where Bella lets Edward finally see into her mind. Edward finally gets to see how Bella had felt about him since the beginning til now... there's just no match for that scene between them.
it gave me fuzzies!

Congrats on getting your question answered -- it was a good one, too! :)

ETA: I hope she writes Leah and not...those other two if she continues.

thank youuuu!!! yeah i mean, justin's performances were so emotional, that ALONE was worth going for... and i agree w/that favorite scene. DANG why can't she write more of that stuff? i wanted to suggest that she write a book of just fluff scenes between them. come on, we all KNOW we'd buy it. it could cover missing moments between them since the day they met... suggest that at the LA show!!! LOL

and thanks! omg when they said my name i was like *jaw DROP* SM picked MY question... although my original question was more involved, asking how can her readers relate to teen pregnancy in specific, but i was ok that they generalized it into just her character. i felt book 4 bella was like WTF, where'd you come from?!!

Sadly, all of the questions for LA are being submitted via the iclips website or something and I'm too lazy. THE ONE TIME I MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE QUESTIONS FOR HER, haha.

THAT, TOO, WAS AN EXCELLENT QUESTION. I'm glad they're not all the generic ones I'm used to hearing.

Ah, I just wanna finish the book so I can actually read those pages of Edward being able to read Bellas minds haha.

hahaha SAME. this is what i told poetrytoprose: i wanted to suggest that she write a book of just fluff scenes between them. come on, we all KNOW we'd buy it. it could cover missing moments between them since the day they met

WRITE THAT SM! WRITE THAT! i know she has a tough time w/plot and structure... she could have neither in a book like that and we'd all still LOVE IT

Ugh. I agree. I can't stomach that pairing. I'd root for Jacob/Leah.

thanks for the write-up! it sounds like an amazing experience. I wish she would come here but twilight eez not so BIG here in Canada. We have a fair chunk of the fandom, that's for sure, but not enough to justify a concert series.

Maybe, once things pick up with the movie, we'll get something for a Midnight Sun tour (assuming she hasn't sworn off tours and does one for MS).
