Over-sharpened, Part Two.

Hot on the heels of the over-sharpening drama in a previous post comes a sort-of solution I gathered from your kind replies. I duplicated the layer, Gaussian-blurred it to 4.0 and set it to Soft Light. The results are not very visible, but I think they look better than before. What do you think?

I don't see a difference. You probably should just stick to not sharpening, or sharpening very little.

To be honest, I don't see that much difference.

Tip:

1. Duplicate your base
2. Gaussian blur 2.0 (or whatever fits your icon)
3. Set it to multiply
Then just lower the opacity or fill levels.

That's what I usuall do, hope that helps~

I can see a bit of difference the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th icons =) They do look better with the blur i think =)
