So if I was ever curious about what it would be like to drop shrooms and watch Battlestar I guess I got my answer. Because seriously, what the frak was going on here?

Maybe I'll delve into something deep upon a rewatch, but at the moment, I'm kind of stunned. I don't know what the hell to think or what they were trying to do with this one.

I felt pretty disorientated during the whole thing. I think this is one we need to take a moment with to absorb.

Yeah, besides getting Lee sworn in (after three weeks??) and showing that the Earth finding mission isn't going so hot.. (except that Kara just let Sam know he was relegated to BOB status.. Katee's energizer bunny comment makes sense in context now ;) ) it didn't drive the story forward. They said no more stand alones.... and this felt like "The One Where Someone Finds Out and it Eliminated"

I was thrown by how close to the edge Cally was even at the start after, well, did we even see her the last two eps?

I was disappointed after the first two were so strong.

And there were a TON of WTF? moments. Why would chief bring a wrench to quarters, that big? Why was he carrying the launch key and not the launch officer/LSO? How did they get printed napkins for Joes? When did Sam stop manhandling Kara to move all the paint cans off the bed? How will they explain the key being in the control room and not in the tube?

I mean, I liked it.
I just. It didn't flow? I didn't feel like it flowed like it usually does.

Me? I've always had a soft spot for Cally, but I agree with you about maybe building her depression into some kind of arc instead of just dropping her pill popping on us last minute here. And yes, when I saw Starbuck's crew I was a little suprised when Gaeta walked through the door. Then saw Sharon AND Helo there. Sam was a given, but Seelix and Gonzo too? (new guy calling Sam rook) A little suprised there as well.

ps. I frakking miss you!

pps. That a Cameron icon I see? You read any of my T:SCC fic? More importantly you WRITE any T:SCC fic?
