Thank you SO MUCH for pointing out the flaws in raising the minimum wage! How come most ppl are age are so blind to drawbacks??
(But you forgot one mucho important argument- raising the minimum wage makes it more expensive for businesses to hire ppl. Therefore, the employment rate will decrease. And what's the point in raising the wage if you don't have a job to receive the money from?)

Actually, the raise in the minimum wage was enacted by New York State and not part of a federal minimum wage increase. Please also note that this will make NYS businesses less competitive than the surrounding states such as PA and NJ.
