Stannis had known that Davos had rough hands. He had known in a purely abstract way, until this very moment. It’s not as if he’s ever touched them if not for brief moments once in a while, and Davos had been wearing gloves most of the time - he never had any reason. But Davos used to be a smuggler and smugglers can’t have soft hands - that much he’d have imagined on his own.

But now that he feels them, it’s an entire other matter

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. And I see your point, I almost considered deleting Stannis/Davos from the pairing list because I know it's impossible to write porn about them. ;) But this was great, just them kissing is already huge for them. ;) (And Davos really lends himself well to all hand kink prompts. ;)) Generally I always love reunion fics about these two. Thank you so much for writing this for me. <3 I will try to write something for you as well in the next few days.

Thanks so much! :DDD and pffff hey you have enough ships lending themselves to the kinky prompts, you might as well keep the vanilla ship. ;) One day I'll try to see if I can sex them up properly just to see if I can pull it off but I'll need a lot more words than that. ;) anyway thanks again, I'm really glad you liked it! And ahah the moment I saw the hand kink I was like '... NICE, STANNIS/DAVOS FOR THIS' XD he's made for that particular prompt I guess. ;) ♥

I think the hand prompt (I had trouble settling on a fifth prompt) was the main reason I kept them on the list. ;) And, yeah, it would be great to get a proper smut fic of them some day, but the ones I've seen so far were just never really in character. I think it's really hard to pull off.

Yeah,I've read a couple as well but I didn't find them too IC either. Tbh I think that in order to sex them up you'd need some extreme situation to start first - I mean, if I tried to do it it'd probably spiral from a post ADWD reunion because *maybe* Stannis could lose his cool if he thought that Davos was dead for good. Or something like that, because Stannis losing his cool would take a LOT, lol. And then it'd probably be not exactly sexy in the beginning because imo if Stannis lost his cool enough to go with it he'd still freak out throughout the entire foreplay. Not to mention the dynamics. I suppose it's the kind of porn that requires serious plotting beforehand...

I think the problem is that I can see Stannis losing control enough (in an extreme situation) to grab Davos, maybe kiss him, but I think his freak-out wouldn't last long enough for them to have sex. Like, after five minutes he'd suddenly have a fit of "oh no, what are we doing?" and stop. And I still haven't thought of any could way to get past that.
