I remember learning it on the recorder when I was 15 or so, and thinking of all the silly, fun stuff that nimrodiel and I would do.

The recorder! I remember that! Back in grammar school, they gave all the second graders their own (albeit cheap) little recorder, and we learned to play them in music class. There was even a recorder club, which I was in. We put on concerts and everything. I remember practicing Ode to Joy over and over and over.... ah! Thanks for reminding me! Hee.
