I don't know if this is the one you were thinking of but;

Justine Bateman was in The Hollywood Mom's mystery (this really crappy IMO straight to TV movie) with Elizabethe Pena who was in "Imposter" (which I actually never saw but wanted to) with Gary Sinise....
