I need to come up with a word for a bit of creative writing. If thaumaturgy is magic - or rather the working of magic/miracles - would something that eats magic be a thaumaphage,  a thaumataphage, or a thaumatuphage.

I was wondering if all the Latin-learners here could tell me what endings are "Plucherrima" and "Gratissima"? They're adjectives, but I never remember learning those "issima" endings. What do they indicate? :\ (I don't mean the english meaning, obviously of each, but what they tell us about the adjective.)

I was wondering, for Latin, is it usual when you translate sentences to English, the verb that is usually last in the sentence becomes first? I've just found with studying the subjunctive lately this is usually the case, although I know a verb can basically be moved anywhere in the sentence. Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

Hi! I profess to have virtually no knowledge of Latin, for the exception of like... a handful of words and not particularly useful phrases.
