So, you hear the word Esperanto. What comes to mind? Why? What exactly are your experiences (or lack of) with the language?

A few days ago, I undertook a brave quest to immerse myself in the Music of the Weird. First television channel in Esperanto launches online

I thought it was interesting, and could be useful for people learning Esperanto :-)

So, I’ve heard a lot about Esperanto, and I know that at least a few of the members of this community speak it. So, what’s the deal? Is it really as easy to learn as they say? Is it possible to learn Esperanto without ever hearing Esperanto and have a good pronunciation?

Does anyone know of a way to input Esperanto diacritics on Mac OS X Tiger? Alt-i-c creates ˆc; it does not place the circumflex over the letter. Short of an easy way to input it into the text, is there a separate, Mac-friendly program that I can download so that I can at least copy and paste ( Read more... )
