Write pinyin?

Do you know how to write pinyin on the computer with the correct tone marks? When I google it, I find a lot of explanations of how to write Chinese characters with Pinyin input, which is no problem for me, since I have Microsoft Pinyin thingy installed. I'm going to look through it more carefully, however it seems this page is to explain how to type the characters, not how to write the pinyin itself.

Assuming it's the same as the Japanese one, if you right-click on the icon in your task bar and bring up the IME pad you can search for the Chinese characters by strokes or radicals. You can also hand write one and it will find similar characters.

Thank you for your answer, however, I can already write the characters, it's the pinyin itself I want to write. :)

Ah, I thought it may have had an option for that alphabet as well, sorry :(
