I need help with figuring out how to refer to a few mythological beings in the singular ( Read more... )

Things get kind of confusing here because like the Daphnaie, the Meliae/Meliai are named for a particular individual i.e. Daphne and Melia. At least a Meliae can be referred to a Meliad.

The first 2 look like Latin plurals to me, not Greek.

They could be. All I really have is Wikipedia. They give the optional Meliai for the Meliae.

It's just a transcription issue. The Greek singulars would be melia, napaia, daphnaia; the latter two can also be spelled napaea, daphnaea. They don't actually seem to be attested in the singular, though.
