Hi everyone! So this might be a bit of a fun one. There's also a bit of storytelling so I've put everything under a cut. It's basically about my experience trying to pick up and internalise a new accent.

The Singaporeans I knew at school have, 20 years on, ended up with accents of whatever country they went to uni in and mainly worked in - in some cases a truly international Euro-Asian-American, some have got much stronger Singlish/Malay/HK accents, others SE English or American ( ... )
