pokemon translations?

Hey, hopefully this is allowed. I've been collecting translations of the Pokemon Fire Red video game so I can eventually put the translations into the game and make a language patch so people can play it on their computers in their native language (or their hobby language). I am sorry but I will not be able to help you with translating, but I just wanted to say that I really admire your work! I just checked some of your Finnish translations from that tumblr, and as a native speaker I am rather impressed. What's your native language, Icelandic? :---)

Ahh this all sounds good, but maybe I should inform you that I'm not actually a uni student? Although English/Russian/French translation studies will most likely be topical within two years. But if he feels like talking to a native, let's say on msn or here on lj, who's a translator-to-be, then yeah why not

I took a look around as well and Danish looks fine. Only - I have no idea if it's too late but just in case - in the very last line about adventures 'eventyrer' (adventurer) should be 'eventyr' (adventures.)

I'm afraid I can't help with any translations, but this looks like an excellent project and a great way to learn some languages! I'll definitely be trying out the Finnish version. :D
