Hmmm, I speak Bulgarian, but I don't know the word for "antihistamine", and neither does the dictionary. I think I would say something like: "Mislya che imam alergia kum bulhi i tursya lekartsvo protiv hapkite - boli me mnogo!", which literally means "I think I have an allergy toward mosquitoes and am looking for medication for the bites - it hurts a lot!".

Bulgarian should work fine in Macedonia, I have been there a couple times and never had any trouble communicating.

I'm not a native speaker and often have to resort to circumloction, maybe someone will come along with a more exact translation.

Not a linguistic contribution, but nappy rash cream works pretty well for itchy bites, and it's usually unperfumed.

Good luck!

Ooh thankyou! I went to bed all bundled up in multiple layers of clothing & bug-repellant last night, only to discover that they'd attacked the only unprotected bit of skin remaining: my eyelids. I am all puffed up & hardly recognise myself, whee! If I can find nappy rash cream in a pharmacy here I'll give it a try..

not a native speaker of macedonian, but i speak it fairly well. i dont know words like swelling or bite, however.

Dali imate antihistamin? Mislam deka sum alergičen na komarci. (Do you have antihistamine? I think that I have allergy to mosquitos)

Are you a boy or a girl? If you're a girl then instead of "alergičen" you say "alergična" for allergic.

Mnogu me boli. (it hurts me a lot)

Dali imate nekakov krem? (Do you have some sort of cream?)

No problem. I'm allergic to mosquitos too. Once, amosquito bit me through my jeans on my thigh! It got all swollen and it hurt to walk. How are your bites doing? Are you feeling any better?

Oh no! That's terrible. It's amazing how such tiny creatures can reduce me this, hahaha.
I was able to get some anti-histamine tablets, but am still gonna try to find some anti-histamine cream (with your translation!) - but the pills are helping a lot already. It was in Skopje where I was absolutely devoured - now I'm in Ohrid, & despite being so close to such a large body of water, it's been mosquito-free so far! :)
Where did you learn Macedonian? Was it easy for you?
