Chinese translation

Hello~ My friend downloaded a Japanese album and found this in the metadata: 僴僫僂僞乣墦偄愄偐傜偺暔岅乣. The tracklist does not list any Chinese songs, so we're curious what on Earth this means, if anything.

It's almost certainly a codepage conversion error and not intended to be any meaningful Chinese text. If your friend is using foobar2000 as an audio player, I'd suggest using the handy plugin foo_chacon to try to fix it.

Yep, that's exactly what it is. If you encode that as GB and then decode it as SJIS, you get:

ハナウタ〜遠い昔からの物語〜

i.e., "Hana Uta - Tooi Mukashi Kara no Monogatari".
