Le pudding à l'arsenic
Dear linguaphiles,
here is bit of fun - a hilarious French song about arsenic pudding from Asterix and Obelix cartoon (1968): bad Egyptian guys try to discredit the Gauls by sending Cleopatra a poisoned dessert in their name (which will provoke her to feed the Gauls to her crocodiles).
I have also found quite a few well-translated versions of this song in other languages: English, Italian, German, Dutch and Swedish. I have two questions for you. Is the Italian version sung with some special ('foreign'?) accent? And do you happen to know of other language versions? Many thanks and enjoy.
