Icelandic is not so much different really, though. :) I think you have to be fluent in Norwegian/Danish/Swedish to get any sense out of it though. It's a lot of guessing (and some memories of Norse mythologicial sagas in high school.. at least here in Norway we read them in Icelandic. It fascinates me so much!)

Yeah, though I'm willing to bet I use English more. :)

Icelandic is supposed to be very well kept - when I read it I feel it takes me back to whatever language actual 11'th century viking sailors used. :)

Rule of thumb is that Danes understand Norwegian (but not Swedish very well), Swedes understand Norwegian (but not Danish as well) and Norwegians understand them all. Haha. :)

What's your first language? Why Swedish? :)

Uh, I'm Norwegian. Translated to Norwegian (by my head anyways) it says "Enda en tekst til. Viltu?? komme opplysninger om fremføring? Du ?? sent ?? post ." I don't know if texti actually means text though.

In English something like "Another text here. Will you come forth with information (on the performing)? You something??"

I'm excited to see if I got any of this right. :) Go back some hundreds of years and Norwegian/Icelandic was the same language.

Framfæri means "pass on"? That's cool! It DOES mean "pass-forth", but the meaning has shifted to "perform" in Norwegian. :)
