Ah but frigorífic is also a noun - imagine the confusion you could cause (although probably only to a learner because a native speaker would judge it on context...oh well).

Colloquial Catalan. :D

It's used here, to mean 'refrigerated' here but can also be used to mean 'fridge' (though the more commonly used word is nevera).

Huh! I don't know any Catalan, but I'm surprised to see that what I assume is a -/k/ ending is permissible, just based upon my general impressions of the language. On the other hand, if it's colloquial, is there a vowel ending that's getting dropped?

... Now I want to learn Catalan.
