Heh.

This reminds me of a toy I had as a kid, it was like a giant dial with an arrow in the center and animals drawn around the edge. You dialled up the arrow to point at an animal along the rim, then when you pulled a string, it would play back the sound of that animal (or a human making the standard English sound, like that site) as the string went back in.

I have not thought of that thing in years!

A great idea for a project; it's a shame that it falls down a little in the implementation. From a linguistic point of view it's a bit disappointing that countries, rather than languages, are the basis of representation. They appear to make a distinction between British and U.S. English, but conversely, the Indian flag presumably represents Hindi alone, so I wonder what'll happen should speakers of the other Indian members of the world top 20 (Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi) want to participate.
