I've tried to find pictures of what written Armenian and Georgian look like...

but I can't. I mean, finding text is easy, but what do those scripts look like when you write it by hand?

georgian, armenian, handwriting

I asked for Armenian writing samples back in May. People delivered. The link: http://community.livejournal.com/linguaphiles/3216114.html

If you ever find handwritten Georgian, please share with me. :-D

... looks like mating snakes, or crochet. It is a beautiful language of loops and swoops and curls. I saw it in Tblisi -- Georgian street signs are bilingual in Georgian and Russian. *wistful sigh* Doesn't map well to either English or Cyrillic writing system, though. I tried both. One of these days I'll find some Georgian language materials and work on acquiring it, for aesthetic reasons. It's such a lovely language to look at and listen to, I'd like to hold it in my soul for more than a few days.

Some old school calligraphic examples from illuminated mss here: http://schoyencollection.com/easteuropbkscr.htm

Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but still, gorgeous.

Georgian language doesn't have capital letters at all. And modern hand-writing is almost the same as taping, at least from foreigners' point of view:)
