it is hebrew,it's read "ne'eman", and it means faithful

Has seghol become [a] in Modern Hebrew? I'd say [nɛʔɛmɑn] for Biblical Hebrew.

Funny, I'd probably read this as the Arabic name Kamal in Hebrew script. Not the best handwriting ever. But yes, it says Neeman - faithful.
