Anyone know any good resources on the history of Scottish Gaelic? I'm interested in when they had the present/future verb tense collapse.

Wow, I know nothing about Gaelic, but a verb collapse? That sounds like SUCH glamour! What does it actually mean? Was anyone hurt? Are people still trapped? Should I leap on a train to the highlands in order to rescue them?

Or is it just one of those loopy langs with one present/future tense...I find this to be confusing.
