How my grandpa got his nickname

My grandpa got one of those lifelong nicknames, too - When my sisters and I were younger, and we were over at my grandparents' house (so, this had to be before 1983, b/c my grandmother was alive), and of course, my grandmother would call my grandpa by his first name (Bob). So, all of a sudden, my sisters decided to start calling him Grandpa Bob. And thus, we all somehow started calling him that. (;

My grandma and grandpa (same ones) used to call each other Old (short for "old lady" and "old man").
