Last night I went with friends to an old-fashioned tent revival/folk festival/sacred Eucharist held in a Hilton Hotel ballroom at the Anaheim Convention Center. Phoenix was hot! (Well, duh.) The Mission Palms Hotel in Tempe (site of a recent Nebula Conference) has a very lovely pool, and that helped even though the mercury was already soaring by 7 am. I'm gathering stuff together in preparation for a trip to ConDor in San Diego this weekend. The greyhounds will go with me and stay two nights with a friend from greyhound rescue -- so they get to party with five other greys for the weekend ( Read more... )
