This week my mom came for like two days. I had a rather productive group meeting on Tuesday, but then she came and I couldn't really do any work, so that sort of killed the roll. It was nice to show her

Awwww, thanks! Actually, I didn't ask the tree thing when we went sailing in summer '05. It was earlier that year during IAP in 10-250 when we saw the qualifying tournament for 6.370 together. You were late, so you didn't see me lose my first and only match where I had my first formation that people liked. (There were four bombers in each square orthogonally adjacent to my flag, and eight falcons in the diagonally adjacent squares to the bombers. Total flag protection. Still, not as cool as the second formation: exponentially spawning falcons that swept the board as triplets making a long diagonal, spawning into bombers at the end.) You were really excited about finally getting your robots to attack but scared because your navigation was bad and you weren't taking full advantage of energon transfers. Still, you won your first game and then you were super happy! Yay!
