Klavier generally avoids the 7 YEARS AGO thing in conversation anyway, since he and Apollo agreed that they shouldn't talk about it to people from the past lest they screw something up. So it'll likely be a non-topic between the two of them (unless Kristoph shows up again).

Also, Sharon! Since I did reread those threads. Sharon is someone who is kind and sweet and doesn't take "no" for an answer, which is kind of hard for Edgeworth! He's not used to people like that! She used to catch him off guard, which rarely happened. So they need to interact again. :|d

Anyway, Edgeworth travels a lot. There's a comment in AA:I (and I don't consider this to be spoilery) about how he's been travelling overseas to study other legal systems. So during the timeskip, I basically assume that this is what Edgeworth's been working on and why we do not see him during AJ. It has been ages since I've replayed AJ all the way through, haha. But while I can't see Edgeworth completely NOT being there for Phoenix, I can't see him ... actually being there either. I think that Edgeworth was probably the one who pulled some strings and pushed for Phoenix helping with the Jurist system, basically.

HOWEVER, I ALSO THINK HE WAS SUPER PISSED because he knows that Phoenix would never use forged evidence and that being the reason for him getting disbarred is balls. >:( But keep in mind that while he's respected in the prosecutor's office, even as of AA:I, there are still those rumors of evidence forgery and witness tampering looming around him.
