Oh, dude, the crack. It is so hard to choose, but this might be my favoritest of all. Or oh, maybe it's the finale. Or the smut. Or... oh god, IDK, I love them all. But OMG THE CRACK. It is DELICIOUS DELICIOUS crack.

I love love love how the whole thing is a meta commentary on the more ridic aspects of the movie. It's just enough fourth-wall busting for me without being over-the-top, ykwim? I love that Jim in this is self-aware enough to think about this stuff and call it out. Especially the bit about the Kobayashi Maru! Seriously, it wasn't like he was trying to be subtle about having gamed the test or anything ( ... )

Okay, sorry for the delay! The genderswap. Now, as you know, I'm not normally one for genderswap. If more of it was done this way, though, I might have to change that opinion.

This is so wonderful - the characters are both genuinely recognizable, and yet with subtle differences that make complete sense. I love the touch of Jane hiding behind her curtain of hair, and Leah not letting her.

As others have said, the line about contraceptives to prenatals is made of AWESOME. :D And the click of the older model comm unit (I so agree, so satisfying!).

Leah offering to take care of whatever's bothering is so sweet, and then the turnaround when she's all panicked because Jane has figured out her secret is just awww! Ahahaha, her trying to play it off like she has a thing for Chekov is awesome and hilarious.

And then when she thinks "to hell with that" and decides to challenge fate, to claim her right to be by Jane's side forever... oh, my heart, she is melted.

So, so wonderful.
