So classes started back up for me today, and my school still hasn't gotten my financial aid right. They keep telling me my mom's PLUS loan hasn't gone through (she was denied, so I should be considered an independant student, hence getting a shitload more money than I actually am right now), so therefore I owe them about $1800 ( Read more... )

Aww sorry they're being dickwads. I'll have a school and money rant when I get around to picking up my loan too.

BTW, I was floored when I had 17 people in my class today. I was sitting there going omg this is less people than in high school.

Yeah, it really sucks. It's like, "Do you guys even know what you're doing? Seriously."

Small classes are more fun, I think. Especially since all mine are online and in some of those online classes you log in later in the day and you have to sift through about 100 message board postings and it's all "Whoa! Slow down the posting people!"

Oh I can already tell this is going to be an awesome class. I have to do another placement but instead of going and playing with the kiddies again I'll be working on an actual project within the community. When I first started reading the descriptions of the placements it was really kind of scary because it was like omg real life real job, but it doesn't seem so bad now after the first class...

Sorry to hear about the financial aide trouble, thankfully I never ran into any 'huge' issues and everything worked out.

What classes are you taking? LMAO at 6-7 students. XD We had like 25-30 in everyone of mine.

Yes, people do dishes at 1am, you aren't the only one I always ALWAYS do dishes around 1230am-1am & have done them later. ;)

Yeah, it's getting to be very annoying.

Right now? "Teaching as a Profession" and "Child Development"

Oh good! Now I don't feel so lame (except it's now 4 am and they... aren't done.)

Oh I think I remember you saying those - I had both of those classes, I wonder if you'll learn the same stuff :)
