I have a knot in my stomach reading this! I don't even know what I would do in THIS situation. I take it he was hiding against the wall or something so you couldn't see him in the peep hole? Ugh this whole situation makes me sick! I wasn't even involved. :(

I really think I would ask to be moved to a different unit, just because I would never feel safe is that unit again, plus now he knows everything you have in there. -shivers-

Yeah I understand; since moving is a pain in the ass, I am just saying if I was in that situation I think I would, because I'd feel so violated already. Just ugh - this whole situation makes me so uneasy for you! :( Hope the cops can catch him, because sadly I am sure this isn't the first time he did this; so I am sure he is in the system for "Wanted" somewhere.

OMG. I'm surprised that you didn't see anyone in the peephole... was the guy out of seeing range, just short, etc??

I am so glad you're okay, and if your complex is offering a different unit, I might just take them up on that.

Your next apartment needs to have controlled access. It may seem like a pain in the ass sometimes, but then you will never have to worry about something like this going down.

He was out of range, around the corner.

This place does have controlled access, it's a gated community.

I am so glad as 'little' happened as it did, not that this isn't RIDICULOUSLY traumatic. You're insanely brave to have that much presence of mind through all of that, completely to be admired.

I swear the WORLD should give you a hug now.
