A long time ago I met a girl. I was completely in love with her and for 5 years or so we shared in a convoluted and tumultuous on-again-off-again relationship as we both moved aimlessly around the country (usually in opposite directions.) Oh yeah, and if you haven't listened to the album yet, you should. I think you will like it. It is better than some albums by other people.

Yeahh.. same thing happened a while back, almost identical. It's crazy how some people just disappear and cut off all contact to everyone from their past, leaving no hints or explanations. And no, it never works but hey, atleast you can express it and that's what counts. People who don't resolve their unfinished business, it'll just continue to haunt them.
