I am one of those who don't get either physics or maths. I have no idea what you were doing but it sounds like a very engrossing and entertaining evening! LOL

I'm a maths and physics dummy, although at school I did okay. But I never went beyond secondary education, and that was a long time ago.

It's good that you're able to help your son out like this, even though you're out of practice. My son was into trees and gardening, which are both things I enjoy, so I could encourage him there. Daughter loves writing, but there aren't any job prospects in that field, I'm afraid.
